In this workshop by Oklahoma textile maker Natasha Ball of House Sparrow Fine Nesting, students learn the basics of dyeing with plants (also known as natural dyes) to create unique fabric for a set of table linens (two napkins and one table runner).
Each student receives:
*Enough Kona unbleached cotton to create a set of table linens.
*Plenty of plants and supplies to experiment with
*A full 3 hours of time with Natasha and to work on your plant-dye creations.
*A take-home guide to plant dyeing.
Students are welcome to bring their own plants and flowers from home to experiment with in class.
For teens and adults. Space is limited; registration is required. Workshop limited to 8 seats.
