About Us

Welcome to Carlton Landing: The Essence of Life Well Lived.

The idea for Carlton Landing came from the realization that people need a place to escape and reconnect with what’s most important.

Town Founder Grant Humphreys grew up visiting the family lake house on Lake Eufaula. In the early 70’s, his grandparents, Jack Carlton and Bonnie Humphreys (known as “Poppy” and “Mom-Mom”) decided to build a vacation home on Lake Eufaula. That home served as the primary family connecting point for generations to come. The name “Carlton Landing” is a tribute to Poppy and Mom-Mom and honors their act of creating great places for a memorable life. Carlton Landing feels like a world away, yet the retreat is just a short drive from Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Dallas, and northwest Arkansas.
